Don Deardorff


Don Deardorff (1925-2010) received his MFA from the University of North Texas and studied with members of the Fort Worth Circle in the 1950s. Deardorff taught painting at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History (formerly the Children’s Museum), the Modern Art Museum, and the Woman’s Club of Fort Worth. He is known for his experimentation with modernist styles and his love for Mexico, the National Parks, and the American Southwest.
